Red Top Barbecue

As I pulled in the parking lot there wasn't very many cars , I thought to myself might as well give em a try its 50/50 chance could be good or really bad. When I got out of my car the smell u know what I'm talking about like it it me in the face awesome 😍. I walked inside I ask for a menu, the lady behind the counter said we don't have one. This big board behind me is where u order from. So I gazed at it for a minute or two. Then I ask her what's the most popular she said all of it, which i got really excited then I order BBQ chicken with chickman dumplings and hase brown casserole. It was all awesome 👌 except the dumplings was little cold. Still tasted good oh👍. I seen the pies they had 3 different kinds all fresh homemade. I bought a slice of each an tried them. The ribs, beef brisket and the sausage was juicy and delicious. Their burgoo was meaty and had great taste.

Great Pulled Pork!! *I had been getting BBQ from another place, as I always had for over 30 years in Montgomery Co. Their BBQ is still the same, however they hired someone who has N0 people skills. He berated me in front of others customers, regarding sauce sizes, which cost additional even when purchasing a pound. I won't bore you with much more.* At Red Top: Since I mainly get the pulled pork, that's what I'll give the review on:, it was cooked perfectly, always tender, the right amount of moisture. It was Not overcooked and Not swimming in its own Grease either. The Price is Less in comparison with a couple of other BBQ places. Red Top BBQ is Better than others I have tried locally. I guess next I'll have to sample some Brisket and Ribs so I can report on that. Enjoy!

Good food for the price. Being from Louisiana I’m not use to flat cornbread. We got (2) 2 meat plates with 2 sides. The ribs , sausage and brisket were very good. The baked beans had a good flavor. The potato salad was ok. I like the fact that it is small place. Nothing fancy. Atmosphere has a country feel. People are very nice. If you are passing by I suggest stopping in to try the food.

Red Top catered our rehearsal dinner for our wedding! They did such an amazing job! The food was amazing and everyone loved it! Thank you so much for everything we really appreciate it and recommend to anyone looking for a great catering business with delicious food!
