Red Onion Edison Chinese Restaurant

Red Onion is a small and clean restaurant. The food tastes very good and fresh. I tried the beef noodle soup and pork chop rice both were delicious. The staff is kind and helpful. The place is quiet and good for a simple meal. Prices are fair, and the portions are big. I also liked the bubble tea. The menu has many choices, and the food comes fast. It’s a nice spot for lunch or dinner. If you like Taiwanese food, you should try this place. I will go again soon and bring my friends.

First time here since we are trying new restaurants that we have never been to around the area and it’s a hidden gem. Servers are friendly and attentive, food is amazing Taiwanese cuisine. We ordered the oyster omelet and rougeng soup as starter. Main course, we got the braised pork over rice, water spinach, three cup chicken hotpot and my personal favorite the fried pork intestine. They are all excellent and I am sure there are many more must try dishes that our stomach don’t have room for. Highly recommend this place!

After nearly 3 months in this country, I start missing Asian food and soup is the best dish when the weather is cold. I was searching on Google Maps for Asian restaurants near my hotel and checked the reviews. Red Onion has the best reviews in general and it's only 9 minutes walk from my hotel. Perfect. As soon as I entered, a warm young guy greeted me with a big smile. I noticed a nice drawing covering the table and protected by a glass top. I ordered the Beef Noodle Soup and more dishes to go in case I got hungry later on. The portion was huge, I only can finish a third and took the rest back to the hotel. The spare ribs was delicious, better than the boneless one. Love the red bean as dessert too. The owner is an artist, I was allowed to take all of his paintings which decorated the

Food was so good. Glad they are still around. Got what we ordered fast. Such a big menu. So much more to try. Can't wait till it's summer to have the shave ice!

FOOD IS TO PERFECTION. David is just as amazing as his restaurant!! This is our forever go to. Authentic homemade food. Never had Sweet & Sour chicken so authentic with homemade sauce and pineapple. General tso chicken on pount!! Fried dumplings, boneless spareribs, All delicious!!
