Dee the Head Chef is not only crafting up yummy home-cooked meals, he does it with dedication and love!!!! We both had the French Dip recently, with fries well-done! Perfection!!! I personally also love their steak fried well-done, Mmmm! The staff makes an effort to get to know you while you dine-in and the vibe has a great home-town feel. My only recommendation is warmer lighting and maybe some plants to spruce up the atmosphere :-) Check out Red Oak next time you’re hungry and heading out to eat!!!!! 😋

Food was amazing and service was awesome. The fried pickles spears were good tasting but could be sliced thinner. Skin of the pickle was tough to bite.. had to slice with a knife.. Just a suggestion

Food was great. Service was excellent. My only complaint was the fried pickle spears. Batter was good but the spears were hard and had to use a knife to cut them.

I went to grab a late lunch. There were several patrons at the bar and one table in the dining room. The bartender was covering the bar and dining room. Everyone, bartender and patrons were super friendly. The bartender took like five more tables and handled the bar patrons without missing a beat. The restaurant is large, a nice amount of space between tables and very clean. I had the Weisenburger with fries and coleslaw. It is hard to impress me with coleslaw, it was good but I wouldn't come back for it. The fries were hot, fresh, golden on the outside and tender inside. The burger was excellent. Honestly this was a great place to eat, I go all over Michigan because of my job and let me tell you what the burgers are phenomenal Iv never ate a burger so fast in my life. I would go here again and I’m definitely going back today for my birthday cuz that shit was firrrreeeeeee
