I want to preface my review by saying this review is in the context of this being a Chinese restaurant in a town with 1200 population and limited food diversity/options. As a Chinese American visiting from Chicago where authentic Chinese food is plentiful, I knew this wasn’t gonna stack well to the Chinese options there, but it also wouldn’t be fair to compare it to that. We were initially hesitant to try this place given some of the strongly worded 1-star reviews. But having eaten here, I can say that it simply does not deserve those bad reviews!!! (which prompted me to write this review) The food was not of the best value based on the price but definitely decent in taste and quality! They will automatically calculate tips for you before you check out, so the bill already included the tip and you don’t have to give extra for your information. We ordered Grace beef, which is pretty good however, the other sprouts, I would say still have like remove of improvements and finally, it was still a decent Chinese restaurant after I seen the Yellowstone National Parkand if you miss your hometown labor, definitely visit there and the service is good. There’s no way time, which is also great overall it was a good place but just the sprouts I think that cuisine is not as authentic is.

Food is okay. 3% service charge is added when using credit card. 15% tip (or 18% if the group of 6) is automatically added to the bill as well, which they listed as “Subtotal” in the handwritten bill. It was okay to me, just make sure you don’t double tip. Also, not sure how they run their business, some staff were working, some were just staring at us eating. So weird atmosphere.

We went in with low expectations because of all the brutal reviews online—especially surprising were the harsh ones from Chinese reviewing a Chinese restaurant. But everything turned out to be amazing! The Szechuan fish soup was just like what we had in China—spot on. Honestly, those negative reviews seem to come from people who didn’t clearly communicate what they wanted from their dishes. We ordered the spicy Szechuan fish soup, stir-fried green beans, and stir-fried noodles—all absolutely delicious. We finished everything! The server was also super helpful. We’ll definitely come back next time we’re in town!
