Red Lobster

We came 2 hours before close but by the time we left it was pass close. Service was quite terrible this night, despite the restaurant being half way empty. Drinks took forever to come and we never got biscuits until I requested them when our entrees finally showed up. My jambalaya was served on a dirty plate, appetizer shrimp was not clean, hair in the food, curdling drink, and waiter was talking to coworker the whole time, never checking on us, it took ages to get drinks, good, and even the check. Others started vacuuming around us despite closing time not nowhere near. Not the best, the host who greeted was a sweetheart but server sucked. Server name was Terri, nice but unattentive.

Let's start off by saying our server, Jicielle C. and the restaurant manager, Shane, elevated this review to 5 stars. We don't usually "do" chain restaurants but we came for the birthday reward and of course, the Cheddar Bay Biscuits! Anyway, we dined out at least twice a week all year long and Jicielle took charge right off the bat. Her superior customer service, knowlege and attention to detail was above and beyond. Shane gave us some extra attentive care when we let him know we were here for a birthday celebration. Anyway we can't say enough good things about the folks here at the Daytona Beach location. The service at this restaurant exceeded my expectations, which I really appreciated. However, I found the food to be just average, especially considering the prices. I believe there is an opportunity for improvement in the quality of the dishes. Additionally, the atmosphere felt a bit too dark; a brighter ambiance could enhance the overall dining experience.

The food was delicious and served hot. My margarita was only ice and syrup. I went to my car to get some tequila to add to it myself. (Just left liquor store) The waitress was ok, seemed like she didn't want to be there that day. No refills offered, no napkins givens we barely saw her.

I had a fantastic dinner at the Port Orange Red Lobster tonight! Everything from the food to the atmosphere was top-notch, but what really made the night special was our waitress, Stacey. She was incredibly attentive, friendly, and made sure our drinks and those famous Cheddar Bay Biscuits never ran out. It’s rare to get such high-quality service these days, and Stacey truly went above and beyond. If you’re heading here, definitely ask for her section!
