Red Koi

Tried to mix it up and came here on Christmas Day. Excellent! Everyone loved it. I didn’t have sushi, but other members of our party said it was excellent. We gobbled everything up, we barely had time for photos.

The restaurant is so comfortable and beautifully decorated. The staff was amazing, friendly and attentive. We love hibachi so we all got the hibachi lunch. My husband got salmon, I got the filet and both kids got chicken. It tasted amazing. Steak was tender, fish was fresh tasting not “fishy”. Bang bang shrimp and fried dumplings made the perfect app. This will definitely become a regular spot for us!!! I’d give them 10 stars if I could!!

A must visit!! The food is amazing, so fresh and prepared perfectly. Thanks to the sushi roll with filet my hubby tried sushi for the first time and LOVED it. The filet on the hibachi dinner literally melted in your mouth. The atmosphere inside is very soft and welcoming. Our server was so attentive and kind. Def now on our favorite list.

Definitely best sushi in town! Chef Jason always makes us something special not on the menu. We spent 4 years in Japan and were so glad we found this place by chance while at the sunday market. If you like spicy, ask them for the homemade hot sauce 🔥

The restaurant’s reviews, while seemingly good, did not match to the experience of our meal. While we were immediately sat, do not choose to sit outside unless you like the smell of constant cigar smoke. Ash and Ale Lounge sits adjacent to Red Koi meaning the smell of smoke sits in the air for the entirely of the meal and is not for those who can’t handle it. For that, the atmosphere diminishes even though the outdoor seating is nice. Our server came to our table promptly and brought out waters for everyone. I ordered the shrimp and chicken hibachi meal and others in my party ordered sushi. The salad and soup included in the hibachi meal were alright, and the meal itself was average at best.
