Red Chili Indian Cuisine & Bar

With construction going on a Chesterfield Mall, you need to weave your way through the parking lot of a Mexican restaurant to get to Red Chili. I ordered the butter chicken and it comes with basmati rice. I also ordered the garlic naan. The server asked my spice level preference and I said mild. The butter chicken is packed with flavor. The spice level was a little too much for me. The chicken was very tender and tasty. The basmati rice was so light and fluffy. The garlic naan was soft and delicious. We received excellent service. The restaurant just had a few customers so the energy level was very low and calm.

I can say the service is not so good, but the place and ambiance is sooo good and I still want to visit again. I have almost visited this place 3 times now. The first time it was crazy good and the food was really nice. The second time I faced a lot of issues with the naans and the food was not up to the mark. The third time they said there was a waiting period of 50 mins and told us to choose another restaurant, so we left. Service definitely needs improvement. They do have buffet only on Saturday and Sunday and it’s good. Overall, good ambiance, mixed food experience, bad service, but still worth a try if they improve

We originally planned to eat at Black Salt, but since it was closed, we decided to give Red Chili a try. The first thing that caught our attention was the ambience — beautifully decorated, very clean, and had a warm, inviting vibe that made us feel instantly comfortable. We started with Samosa and Spinach Chaat for appetizers. The samosas were decent — crisp and flavorful, but nothing particularly memorable. The spinach chaat, however, was a bit disappointing. It didn’t taste freshly made; the spinach fritters seemed like they were prepared earlier and just topped with yogurt and chutneys before serving. Freshly fried spinach would’ve really elevated the dish. For the main course, we ordered the Tandoori Platter, which turned out to be the highlight of the meal! Everything was well-seaso

I have been there many times. Usually, I order dishes like butter paneer, butter chicken, and garlic naan. This time, however, I ordered a burger for the first time. It came with French fries, but you won’t believe how oily they were. As soon as I took a bite, it felt like my mouth was full of oil—the fries were extremely over-fried. As for the burger, there was something clearly wrong with the tikki inside. It looked and tasted as if it had mold on it, which was absolutely disgusting. Wasted my $70 and ended up leaving everything on table without eating. I ordered some other things as well and it was disappointing that will never go again.

Highly recommended Indian restaurant within the Indian community. Really attractive very clean restaurant. Waitress was perfectly attentive and very helpful. Was there for the lunch buffet. If you get there at 11:30 it’s going to be very fresh. Loved everything on the buffet. For sure, I’ll be back.
