Rays Southern Foods

I usually love rays. Food is always bomb but I ordered off Uber eats and Chile idk what happen. The rib tips were great but the baked beans tasted so burned I couldn’t even continue. The potato salad looked like it’s been sitting for too long and then they forgot the sauce on the side and white bread. I know delivery / pick up can be a headache but it would be appreciated if the same customer service goes into the pickup order as well. How yal forget my white bread!? 😩

I can’t speak to the service or atmosphere. I ordered my New Years Day good luck meal via Uber Eats. Ray’s did NOT disappoint! Almost as good as mama’s (couldn’t make it to her house this year). The black eyed peas had a very slight sweetness that made them delicious and the collards were spot on. Cornbread had crispy edges and teensy bit of sweetness. Mac n Cheese and fried okra completed the meal with what may have been the stars of the show. Ya’ll! Don’t hesitate to order from here. Kisses to the chef. I have had Rays quite a few times and always loved it and raved about how good the food is but I went in on yesterday 9/25/25 at 4:43pm. I got home and started to eat and the vegetables were horrible. Everything tasted burnt or old. I ordered a 2 meat combo with rib tips and chicken tenders with 7 cheese mac n cheese and baked beans. I also ordered a three veggie plate with fried cabbage, fried corn, and yams. I also ordered the vanilla pound cake. The entire order cost me $39.27 and I wish I could dispute the charge because it was truly a waste of my money. At least I was able to eat my meat because it was the only part of the meal that was worth it. At this point I don’t know if I will go back. I don’t know what or who changed in there but I don’t like wasting my money and I was very unh

Great soul food and excellent customer service. Very nice and attentive. Food tastes like grandma and grandpa was battling for best chef. Everything was so delicious.
