Ray's Donuts

We have always heard about Ray's Donuts but had never tried it out! We have lived here for 2 years now and popped in this morning for a dozen. They are as good as we have heard! The prices are great and the service was phenomenal! My father-in-law is diabetic and they got us some unglazed ones from the back so he could eat one without the extra sugar. We will be back!

Really good doughnuts. Made fresh daily. You need to get there early because they will close when they run out. My wife says she likes them better than Krispy Kreme, but I like the jot KK ones a little better.

I would just go here for the donuts. By the time we got there many were already sold out- Sunday 11am. I got the jalapeño kolache. It wasn’t spicy. I think it was just okay. The croissant sandwiches are all right. Drinks were good. Just nothing special here. I drove 20 min to come here because our closest donut shop that we love was closed.

Ray’s is my family’s go-to spot for donuts, croissants, and kolaches. Consistently an excellent dining experience and the food is always fresh and tasty. The owners and staff are friendly and provide great service every time!

Stopped by on a whim after leaving Etowah River with the kids in tow. They got chocolate chip and a cinnamon bun (or honey bun maybe? It was glazed, not iced) and I got a cronut. We all agreed it was probably the best donuts we’ve ever had (previous favorite is 5 Daughters Donut). Atmosphere is authentic and low-key, perfect. Next time we’ll try the drinks!
