Raymond's Bakery at Elim Grove

A hidden gem that had so many memorable moments you will look forward to your next visit. This bed and breakfast is close to Gurnville and Bodega Bay. Gurnville is a cute town with shops, food and music. Bodega Bay offers majestic views of the coast and amazing clam chowder. Must go for both but must stay at Raymond’s Bakery. We arrived Friday night and they had live music, amazing pizza and a bar until 9pm ( only Fridays ) Cute rooms that are dog friendly. We stayed in the bakers loft which at 4 am we could smell the amazing pastries being baked for our morning breakfast downstairs . Two plates of freshly baked heavenly pastries and freshly roasted coffee beans, ready for grinding and brewing, were delivered to our room each morning. Super charming stop in redwoods. You can stay at the B&B or pick up some fresh baked goodies. Fridays during the summer are especially awesome as it’s pizza night and there is live music and dancing. Wonderful community!

Bought a special(rye) sourdough round at Bodega Bay farmer market. It has a dense crumb and generous salt, uniquely flavorful. I could tell it's naturally fermented by its strong beer scent
