Raymond Timberland Library

We loved this library. Kid area is really good.

Timberland regional library has overall been a wonderful library. I have used the library all my life, and have been bringing our own children here regularly for a decade, and it has been wonderful. We regularly visit Montesano, Elma and Shelton. Recently there has been a strange sudden shift that has been taking place. Staff has suddenly changed, and things in the library has disappeared, including books for some reason. While we find this sudden change interesting, overall it’s still a good library. That is until we recently visited the Raymond location. It struck us as odd that in the children’s section of all places, front and center they had on display topics that revolve around race, race issues, gender, queer, and other topics. Beautiful old lib, woundful staff!

Great place. The staff was funny. Layout was a little confusing and bathrooms were out of order for now. Other than that it was pretty fun, made gingerbread houses with the kids at an event they were hosting at the time.
