Ray-J's Cheesesteaks

Stopped here heading out of Philly. We searched for places along our route & glad to have found this spot. Really friendly customer service! Our wait time was around 10 minutes & they were really good! As the pictures show, it’s a tasty & stuffed cheesesteak. Served on a nice roll. Our first halal cheesesteaks & we all enjoyed, as we split a couple. Reheated very well too. Definitely will return on another trip.

The best cheesesteaks I’ve ever tried. It’s run by a Palestinian family and 2 people are running the show. The lady (Suzy) taking our order was the sweetest and had the best vibe. I’ve had cheesesteaks before from a NYC cart and didn’t like it. I was skeptical to try them again but this blew me away. It was around $70 for 4 cheesesteaks and fries. A bit expensive but I wasn’t the one paying. Other then that I would recommend this area if your nearby and want to find some good authentic halal food. They also gave us the biscoff dessert free of charge and I would recommend getting it (as a person who loves biscoff).

I stopped by Ray J’s Cheesesteak after seeing a TikTok saying it was halal, and it completely exceeded my expectations. I’m usually picky about halal cheesesteaks, but this was on a different level. The meat quality was excellent, the portions were generous, and the staff were friendly. The seasoning was spot on, and the bread was great. I tried both the Alpha and the Ray J’s Royal. The Alpha is a solid, simpler option, but the Royal is the standout for me. Highly recommend giving it a try.

My Alpha was great and the ribeye was very soft. If the bread was toasted it would be amazing. The onions are delicious but maybe a dust of salt would have made them even better! Customer service was phenomenal! I mean bringing my order to my vehicle.... awesome 👌 👏 👍

Driving home everyday from work I pass by Ray-J's, and I've been thinking to myself I should try it out. Today I finally made the stop and do not regret it. First let me just say the staff is friendly and welcoming. All the options looked appetizing, making my decision a little tough. Thankfully, input from the woman who took my order helped make up my mind. I got Ray J's Royal cheesesteak and substituted the sweet peppers for jalapenos. Needless to say this steak is on point. So delicious and filling. Glad I stop by. If you're looking for a great cheesesteak and quality service definitely try out Ray-J's.
