Ravensbrook Inn Yosemite

Just stayed here this weekend. Had an awesome time, though very short, and Sheri was an excellent host! The booking was last minute, and she accommodated 4 of us in one room. It's a cozy little bed and breakfast on a great, secluded property in the forest. Wish I had more time to explore the grounds. Don't expect a 4-star high end hotel, but a very inviting house where you can feel at home. Very clean. Sheri is very easy going. We enjoyed the hot tub very much after a long day of driving. The breakfast is something else! You really have to experience it. It's way beyond any breakfast you've experienced at any hotel! Highly recommended overall.

Its been a number of years since I stayed here, but it was such a good point in an otherwise somber occasion that I feel the need to let people know just how amazing they are.||||A few years ago my father passed away. One of his wishes was to have his ashes scattered at Yosemite. I knew that we were going to need to find a hotel for my mother and aunt to stay at for the couple of days it was going to take for us to do what needed to be done, so I went looking for a place that would be quiet, peaceful, and a but secluded. At the time we didn't need the chaos of the larger hotels in the area. I found Ravensbrook online and called to make reservations. I stayed two nights in Yvettes beautifully located, impeccably clean BnB. Only two ensuite rooms so very peaceful, both with lovely views over the pretty garden. Plenty of winners here...light and airy room, comfy bed, good wifi, flatscreen tv with Netflix, bathroom amenities, plenty of safe parking, excellent breakfast of your choice, either inside or on the balcony overlooking the garden and lake. Yvette is a lovely approachable hostess who really cares about guest comfort. I would recommend.

Yvette is a delightful lady who is very welcoming. She is slowly renovationg her B&B.||We were disappointed in our room, especially the bathroom that is tatty and needs to be replaced. There were broken tiles on the floor and we had troubles with water pressure, a dribbling basin tap. To be fair we reported it to Yvette who called out a plumber on the day we left and she did email us to explain what the problem had been. Conscientious but a bit late for us!||||Breakfast was ok but not really to our taste. We would have preferred a bowl of fresh fruit (this is California!) and yogurt with a choice of granola, nuts, wholemeal bread, etc. Healthy choices in short. Instead we had omelettes on both mornings and no bread or preserves were available unless we asked for them. Hard to tell someone

This is a one-of-a-kind hidden gem. The location is a bit far from the park, but if you are looking for a quiet or romantic getaway, you should definitely book. The innkeeper is fantastic, and made me feel right at home. She doesn’t skimp on the breakfast part, we had a lovely spread that included her homemade strawberry jam.
