Came over here bevausd other reviewers raved about this place plus lamb appetizers were mentioned. Unfortunately, it's no longer in the menu so are the carribean inspired ones. So I ordered their lamb dish with a side of roti bread. Whoever their chef is knows his/her wares. Flavorful and I can taste its simmered for hours. The roti wasn't enough to sop up the juices so I ordered their naan which has a buttery crust. Yum! Oh for drink, try their spiced mango lassi. A hint of nutmeg would take it to the next level but it's refreshing regardless.

Amazing experience at Rank and File! The staff was super friendly, the beer selection was great, I picked the Trophy Husband! The Bombay Chicken Biryani was absolutely delicious and perfectly spicy. Will definitely be back!

A must visit when your in goldsboro food is excellent. Staff is great I been here three times each time it has gotten better. Looking forward to my next visit.

Five Stars – A Hidden Gem with Incredible Food and Service! Rank and File Gastropub blew us away! From the moment we walked in, the service was top-notch. Our server was not only attentive but also incredibly knowledgeable about the menu, helping us make the perfect choices. The food? Absolutely phenomenal. It was so delicious we didn’t even get a chance to take any pics. We just dug right in. The portion sizes were just right, and everything we tried was bursting with flavor. To top it all off, the owner came by to personally check in and chat with us, which made the experience feel even more special. This place has so much potential, and we can't wait to come back and try more of the menu. If you're thinking about visiting—do it. You won’t be disappointed!

Fabulous describes the food at Rank and File. We ate at this new restaurant Friday evening and ordered the menu tour; everything was superb. Our two favorite dishes were the oxtail and butter chicken, but all the food was delicious. The beer and wine lists were extensive - many labels new to Goldsboro. The service was impeccable; Erica, Serene, and Matt answered all our questions and were great hosts. We intended to go for a quick supper, but we stayed two and a half hours because we were having such a good time. Other patrons were enjoying themselves too; the atmosphere was casual and fun. Nothing stuffy - just wonderful food, great hosts, lots of laughter. We'll be returning to Rank and File, our new favorite restaurant, soon. Hope to see you there!
