Rani is hands down the best Indian fine dining experience I’ve had in a long time. The flavors are sophisticated and layered—not just ‘spicy,’ but truly aromatic. First we ordered cocktail which was the best JHANSI KI RANI it was spicy tangy flavour 10/10 then with cocktail we ordered Chana Koliwada crispy chickpeas in batter fried 7/10 then we orderd appetisers Amritsari Fish fry 10/10 Prawn lollipop 10/10 Badshahi corn cake with Malwani corn gravy 7/10 Salmon tikka 10/10 then we orderd Entree Kerala special chicken Curry 8/10 Rajasthani laal Maas 10/10 Bread Basket 10/10 on side beetroot raita 10/10 last but not least Churros with coffee malai 10/10 .they use high-quality ingredients and traditional techniques. Excellent food experience on our anniversary for my Rani at Rani restaurant. Our host at restaurant Siddesh was very courteous, professional and knowledgeable about the menu. We were impressed with Parsi Kathal Biryani, Dal Tadka, Kesar malai broccoli with Garlic chips. Badshahi Cirn cake with Malwani corn gravy was unique. Mocktails Lychee Martini and Let’s dance was good. The dessert menu Churros with Coffee malai was spectacular. Overall a fantastic experience.

We visited this restaurant in New Jersey twice this year, and both experiences were memorable in different ways. Our first visit was in January 2025, when we dined in the regular seating area. We tried the mutton soup, masala papad, mango delight, a side dish, and naan. Everything was flavorful, and the soup in particular stood out. For our second visit in September 2025, we chose the lounge area, which had a really nice setup and added to the overall experience. We started with refreshing drinks – the mango mojito and strawberry sunrise – followed by our favourite from the last visit: mutton soup and then masala papad. The soup was thick, rich, and honestly one of the best I’ve ever had. We also tried a new starter this time – the prawn lollipop. At first, the portion seemed small, but it

For the price, the food was substandard. The paneer kebabs were good — that was the only highlight of the meal. However, the Haryali paneer was essentially raw paneer served with grilled vegetables. While the paneer itself was soft, that alone doesn’t make it Haryali paneer. The dal Bukhari and ricotta kofta were also disappointing. The koftas were dry and leaned too sweet, and the dal lacked depth and richness. The ambience was average — nothing particularly memorable. Given the 4.8 rating, we expected much better. Unfortunately, it didn’t live up to the hype. This was likely our first and last visit. There are far better dining options in New Jersey at similar price points

Amazing food. Very kind server. Sadly I did not try the drinks as I was driving back home but they looked good. The Hariyali paneer was awesome and so tasty and soft. The ricotta kofta was soft and so savory. We ended the night with gulab jamun it was unique but so tasty. Will def be back.
