Rancheros Méxican Restaurant

We bought their breakfast burritos for the special and I asked if we could eat here since we were hungry. The waitress said yes at first but then spoke to the person in the back and they said we couldn’t eat in. I guess their breakfast burritos promo is cheap because you cannot eat in. Giving them a one star because we couldn’t eat in or dine in. Service sucks. Food is decent and it’s fresh.

I had the enchiladas combo without the salad or tostada. The food wasn’t bad good. It didn’t amaze me but it was still good. The main complaint with the food was that it was bland. There was no spice. I used the salsa they provided with the chips, which was not even spicy but did help to add some flavor. The location of the restaurant is in a more wealthy part of the city. The clientele is mainly of a certain class background. When you put 2 and 2 together, it explains why the food is toned down. I’ve had better enchiladas at other place around town. Apart from the food, the atmosphere of the place is the best thing about it. The ambience feels cozy and looks appealing. The service is excellent. I really appreciated how friendly the staff is. Caitlin, the waitress, greeted me with a smile

Most food was good, but the rice and beans where kind of plain. The Chilli relleno was quite good.

Bean tastes not fresh like from a few days old. Asked for red sauce for taco and was told the salsa sauce is the red sauce. Food doesn’t taste fresh.

Doesn't deserve a 1 rating. This restaurant goes from bad to worse. Water is filtered but tastes just like mold. The salsa appears to be watered down tomato sauce seasoned with chili powder, no tomato pieces, onions, cilantro, all the usual you find in good salsa. It was terrible and just too hot. And to top it off we had to leave because we were being bombed by a wasp that was taking refuge behind our booth. I am done with them!
