Rancheritas Mexican Authentic

Great little place! We are moving back to Texas and we're not able to eat any tacos due to the recent winter storm. However on our way back out of town to get more stuff we found this place and it was delicious! Totally recommend it to anyone who enjoys authentic Mexican street tacos!

ONG the tacos! Each taco had the perfect amount of meat, nestled atop a grilled corn tortilla, topped with onions and cilantro. We tried the barbacoa, the brisket, and the pastor—all delicious. We also ordered a side of rice and beans, plentiful enough to share. Be sure to try the green sauce that comes with the tacos. It’s phenomenal and just spicy enough to leave your tongue tingling. We left only a few chips and a bit of salsa behind, as the chips were perfect for scraping up the bits of rice and beans we generously squirted with the sauce. Did I mention fresh, homemade tortilla chips? I just wished we lived closer.

The best Carne Asada Burrito around! Rancheritas is authentic Mexican food at its best. This is not a high-priced, fancy, dress-up kind of place. Come as you are and bring your big appetite. My dad took me here when I visited him in Nacogdoches, TX. He ordered 2 steak burritos but they have a full menu with lots of variety. You order at a walk up counter and then seat yourself in their colorful dining room. Delicious homemade tortilla chips and salsa was brought to the table before our food arrived. The burritos came out fairly quickly and they were HUGE!! One bite and I was completely sold! This was a loaded burritos with all the fixings. I wish I lived closer so I could try more from their extensive menu. If you live close by, go get you some!

Looking for real Mexican food in East Texas? Rancheritas has great food. Quesadillas, gorditas, and tostadas were awesome. Aguas frescas are also found here!

The food was not bad, but everything I had seemed to taste a little bland. Service was a little slow to me since we were the only one to be waited on at the time.
