Oh my goodness this place is insane(ly good). Seriously classic dinner vibe. Huge portions with all types of fun things on the menu and fair prices. I got the French toast which came with eggs (I subbed hashbrowns) and bacon. The French toast was thick Texas style bread and 3 ENTIRE pieces. My partner got the pork omelette and he absolutely loved it. The staff are extremely welcoming and the decour takes you back in time in the best way. Parking is tight!
The Southwest Chicken Fried Steak doesn’t arrive. It lands. Smothered in green chile pork gravy and melted cheddar, it’s reckless in the best way. Underneath, a properly fried steak still clings to its crunch, fighting through the sauce. Cut into the over-medium eggs and the yolk runs wild, sliding into that upgraded Southwest hash — crispy edges, soft centers, peppers doing just enough to justify the plate. The biscuit and gravy? A $1.99 middle finger to inflation. Sturdy, unapologetic, built to soak up every last drop. This isn’t health food. It’s comfort with heat, heft, and zero shame. For $25 and change, you leave full, slightly wrecked, and grateful.
Ordered the half and half chicken fried steak original with southwestern. Both flavors were excellent. Eggs sunny side up no complaints either. The potato hash is a bit odd a blend between hash and grits as it's very soft and wet inside. Might be a local flavor or just need more time on the grill.
Really fun Little gem of a place! The chorizo is phenomenal and the homemade gravy for the chicken fried steak is out of this world! Some of the best we've had in the valley, if you're looking for a fun little spot for breakfast, this is the place! We sat on the patio.
Chicken Fried Steak was solid. Guessing they actually make their own gravy. Besides that, everything else was done poorly. Hashbrowns were a mushy mess and 3 orders of "toast" was warm bread. Eggs in wife's omelet were literally burnt to a crisp.
