Ramsey County Library - Shoreview

Kids area isn't closed off or anything so I do feel like the kids need to be more quiet than they are typically capable of.. hah. BUT they do have things for the kiddos to play with, pretty great selection of books and a variety of cultural topics. They have lots of activities that you can attend and we have loved every one we have been to. In addition, the staff has always been great when we have needed them!

Clean bathrooms. Easy in and out. Friendly staff.

Great library. Easy to access and plenty of space to walk around, read, computer access, relaxing, etc. Great space for kids and toddlers. Very clean space with good staff. Highly recommend.

I love this library! It has lots of sunny spots to read and is super cozy. I especially love their display of succulents!

Impressive library. It has a really wide selection of books, including many that are in high demand and usually checked out at other Twin Cities libraries, and even a handful of children's books in Braille. There were tons of community resources, including a 3D printer and sensory-friendly Sunday mornings. The building design is very modern and features huge windows to let in natural light, a teen hangout area, and a variety of comfy seating options. There is a mural, lots of plant-themed artwork, and a really fun chart showing different book characters' heights near the kids section! Also, they were successfully running an early voting service from the library when I was there, which can't be easy. Highly recommend!
