Ramses Tacos and Tequila - Primera

I came here with my kids and parents for dinner. We wanted to try the place out. It was a fantastic visit. I forgot what food we ordered but it was delicious and there was plenty to take home, the portions were very generous. It was a sports bar atmosphere with large TVs on the wall but the inside was not dark. I felt comfortable with my kids in the restaurant and not out of place. We came for dinner.

Update: 2/17/26 - a consistent restaurant, trying new food plate and drinks. Appetizer of jalapeño bombers were fantastic, with crispy bacon, which is hard to find. The margarita flight was okay. The pomegranate margarita was very good. The frozen margarita were okay but a little weak. The fiesta Mexican plate was more than enough to split for two people. And then they surprised our daughter with a great tasting cake and a huge birthday candle. 11/10/25 - A beautifully and elegantly decorated restaurant in an unexpected location. When we first entered, we thought we were under dressed; though we were welcomed by friendly waitresses. We were made comfortable and relaxed. I was in a work trip, and the front desk recommended this restaurant. I was pleased with the atmosphere, service, food and prices. I returned next day for the chicken tortilla soup.

Always busy because the neighborhood really likes it! The bland strip mall exterior does not do justice to Ramses. A quick step inside reveals a bright bar and restaurant combination with plenty of glitz and chandeliers to boot! It's a nice place for a family meal or to take a date. The service is superb and the dishes are tasty. If you order refried beans as your side just be ready to get a week's worth of sodium. It's a good idea to have a cool, tasty drink nearby. So far the food I have had is pretty good. Not 5-star but a solid 4-star rating. Everything combined makes for a nice place to enjoy a good dining experience. The prices are on par, if not a little lower than other similar restaurants - reasonable for the generous portions of food. You should try Ramses!

Tried the Mexican Fiesta plate, the best I have had anywhere! Comes with 2 crispy tacos,1 tostada, 2 enchiladas and alot of fajitas, rice, charro beans, salad and corn tortillas, I couldn't finish it, it was a lot of food. Well some for tomorrow. Try it! You won't regret it! The place is a hidden gem, out of all places it's in Primera! The place is beautiful and lots of TV's for the games!! Excellent place.
