Ramen has always been my comfort foo and this place didn’t disappoint me. They’re definitely worth a visit!
I come here 5 times a week. but I always order the OG. I asked Mike, in the register what should I get. and he explained to me to depth the difference between the meals, and he showed me the Naruto Maki so I've tried some new stuff. And I liked it !!! honestly the interaction with Mike was very different than anybody else. it's nice to have someone explain to you and guide you, especially with asian food. Thanks to Mike I now can order other stuff with confidence. with the brief conversation with him I thought he is the one making those meals becaue he knows so much about it.
Ordered Shoyu Tonkatsu ramen which includes Chashu pork….ONE dang PIECE. Just one single piece of pork. Traditional ramen dishes have AT LEAST 2, sometimes 3 if you’re lucky. Broth tasted charred/kind of burnt. Pan friend gyoza was just okay. Not an impressive noodle portion. Seemed like it was filled with more bamboo shoots than there were noodles. Didn’t finish my food. Won’t come here again. Food was not worth the price and didn’t taste great. Mediocre.
Best ramen shop in Austin. Worth the wait every single time. The Texas Tonkatsu special was absolutely perfect. 11/10. When are you guys gonna open a shop in Dallas so I can get some amazing ramen back at home? Hahaha love this place
The ramen is 5 stars, it has been a while since I have been to a tatsu-ya establishment and I was a bit caught off guard an extra order of 2 slices of Chasu was $5. After taxes and rip my order was $23/bowl of ramen. 🫨
