RAMEN-SAN Deluxe

This place wasn’t originally on our plans but it popped up on our Google Maps and the food looked really good. We got there, waited for about 10 minutes and we our table was ready. The lady in the front was super nice and kind. Our server delivered an excellent service too. The food was AMAZING. Unfortunately we were full and couldn’t try more things from the menu, but we would definitely love to come back and try other stuff. My favorite plate was the chicken dumplings, they were phenomenal. I would recommend this place to anyone.

Visited Chicago for the first time and this Japanese restaurant was such a standout that we came back twice during our 3-day stay. The staff are incredibly efficient, warm, and genuinely friendly, which made the whole experience even better. Service was smooth even when it got busy, and everything felt well-organised. Most importantly, the food was excellent. Fresh, beautifully prepared, and consistently delicious across both visits. Definitely one of the highlights of our trip. Highly recommended if you’re in Chicago.

Me and my wife stopped here for lunch on our first full day for restaraunt week cause we were craving ramen and it was only a block walk from our hotel. We started with a pork belly bun and the edamame. Both were incredible but the edamame was for one of the better I’ve ever tasted, almost had a Smokey flavor. Loved it. Then we got ramen. She got the kimchi and fried chicken which was a little spicy but very flavorful. I got the 10 hour tonkatsu and we both found that broth was insanely flavorful and probably both our favorites. Great spot for a quick bite to eat and the staff were very easy, helpful and friendly too!

Amazing food! Quick service, calm atmosphere. Came here for a birthday lunch it was perfect, hearty and filling . I got the chicken shio ramen, my husband got the friend chicken ramen- get that one!! I’m telling you you won’t regret

My family and I stopped into RAMEN SAN Deluxe and had an incredible experience. The restaurant is right in the River North / Streeterville area and the warm wood interior and lively atmosphere made it feel inviting the second we walked in. The staff was friendly, fast and genuinely attentive even though it was busy. They handled everything effortlessly and made the meal feel relaxed. The food was outstanding. I ordered the Kimchi & Fried Chicken Ramen and it was one of the best ramen dishes I’ve ever had. The broth was rich, the noodles were perfect and the crispy fried chicken plus spicy kimchi added amazing flavor and texture.
