Being from Vancouver, I’m admittedly a bit snooty about Japanese food and don’t know how other spots in Chicago compare. Overall, it was decent. The vibes were great, if I lived here I’d come with friends to drink and have some food on the side. Everything was a bit fattier/greasier than I’d prefer but good flavours and nothing was too salty. Probably perfect if you’re a bit tipsy and need something to soak up the alc. Service was really warm and laidback, and I like that you order/pay online. Super easy for groups with the split bill option too. It was busy and lots of communal seating. Standouts were the chicken karaage (really good crunch) and the Thank yuzu drink!! I HAAATE cilantro and it was actually sooooo tasty, might be the only application that I really enjoyed cilantro in.

Let’s just say it is not my cup of tea! I was really exciting when I found it on Google map before I visiting Chicago. Place is cool and I do like the vibe. But Ramen just not my type of ramen. Dessert actually is the highlight of the night. The restaurant is busy for sure, but I most likely won’t be back.

This is one of the best ramen spots I have tried so far in America. I got the spicy kimchi and fried chicken ramen with spicy crushed egg and fried garlic. The ramen was full of flavor ,quite spicy and really good that suits well in the cold weather. I also got the pork belly mantu buns to try and they were quite tender and juicy. It was charged for 6.5$ which felt like a ripoff cuz it was a really small piece, but flavors were there and was tasty. Chicken& Vegetable gyoza was also really good. This place is always busy and hard to get table during weekends, so highly recommend reserving a table in advance. Overall highly recommend checking this place out for some good ramen especially when its cold outside!

I discovered this place using Google Maps in search of a good lunch spot near my hotel on W Wacker. When I read "fried chicken and kimchi ramen" I instantly new my destiny was set. I arrived on a blistery cold afternoon and settled into a booth. Before long though, I had to change seats as the freezing breeze from the door opening up was too much for me to handle after the cold walk there from my hotel. That's where the negatives ended. Despite the cold, a draft of Asahi from a blast chilled line was too hard for me to pass up and it was great: tiny lil specks of ice where in the first few sips. I added an egg and a side of sesame chili oil, both which I highly recommend ...I mean...if you like your ramen delicious and spicy. The broth was rich with deep flavor from the 10-hour proce

Great Japanese place! Clearly defined veg dishes. Food takes a bit longer than normal to come, but it's really tasty. Had the Express lunch and one veg ramen. Tried the Sake bombs too, which was fun.
