if I can, I would get a lunch platter at least 3 times a week from here. they have a good choice of vege&meat option. you get to choose 3 dishes and it comes with rice. $11 deal, how can I miss? and taste good and authentic. this one from asian.

This is one of the best Indonesian spots in Philly with a good deal on either a $11 3 item meal over rice or $9 for 2 items. Small space so best for take out and cash only. I asked if they had menu online but was told no cos they have possible different rotations daily lol. I forget what the first item was but was good mix of veggies, kale was good the spicy beef stew not spicy but good broth. Good to stop in when not able to get hardena lol but still good and nice staff. One of best deals in city!

I’m from Singapore and the moment I bit into the beef rendang (spiced beef stew), let me tell you this is legit Indonesian food served the way it should be: food stall-style, with scoops of side dishes served on top of fluffy rice. Humble prices, humble staff, truly a hidden gem. You won’t break the bank by eating here and you’ll still get the authentic Indonesian experience.

I had a delectable, flavorful mix of 4 different platters of some of the best Indonesian food in Philadelphia. I ate every morsel as quiet as a mouse. The flavors of the spicy beef, chicken, fish and shrimp were delicious!

Based on past experiences with this restaurant, my tip to you is to call ahead of time!! 1. To see if they’re actually open, and 2. If they still have food left. This is the fourth time where we drove all the way there to get food from them, but each time it’s either they’re closed earlier than the time it’s advertised or 2, they ran out of food. We went there around 12 pm a few times and also 1:30 pm the fourth time. Unfortunately, the 1 star is for the lack of consistency in their hours of operation. Never had the chance to try their food and at this point, we gave up on this place.
