Ram & Rooster

This is an interesting fusion Chinese restaurant. The food was delicious, not in the typical style as one would find in a traditional fine Chinese restaurant. The presentation was French/Japanese/gastronomic, and ingredients were a hybrid of Chinese/Japanese/French. We tired the 8-course menu; and everything tested great! Service was also top-notch, friendly, attentive and helpful. I also liked the decor and atomsohere here; it felt modern simplicity with a touch of elegance. Good choice on the ligjting and other hareware throughout. Who ever designed it had great taste. Overall, I highly recommend this restaurant. I would definitely come back seasonally when menu changes.

What an INCREDIBLE expierence. We are fans of fine dining and I have to say we were still blow away! The photos paled in comparison to how delishious and beautiful each dish was. Staff delivered each course with perfect timing and explained all aspects of the dish. We sat at the chefs counter and watching everything be made was magical! The braised beef cheek and noodles was probably my favorite noodle dish of all time. We left perfectly full and satisfied. THANK YOU to the entire staff and team for such a fabulous evening. Can't wait to come back.

From the poached mussels in a silky coconut base to the melt-in-your-mouth Wagyu, every bite was perfectly balanced and beautifully presented. I recently visited here and had chef tasting course. Nothing was bad, but nothing truly stood out either. Most dishes were a bit overseasoned, which distracted from the flavors. Service was attentive and polite, though the servers spoke so softly that it was hard to hear them at times. Overall, it was an okay experience, but for the price, I expected something more memorable.

My husband took me to Ram & Rooster for my birthday and I can’t wait to go back again! Everything from the decor to the food was unforgettable. Favorites were the taro fritter, mackerel crudo, hokkaido scallop, and beef cheek. I also really enjoyed the Hong Kong iced tea and ordered two of them. Drinks are BYOB and there’s a liquor store next door. We definitely plan to return!
