It is a basic menu of chicken tenders. They were properly cooked, lightly seasoned, good crunch, you have to enjoy the sauce and use it to provide the flavor. I liked it. The fries are not special, crinkle cut, but they were also hot and salted properly. The Texas toast is fine. Did not add much to the experience. If you already like Raising Cane's this location does it very good. It is worth trying but variety is not a selling point.
Why is this place so hyped? The menu is so boring! I got a 3 piece tender meal with toast and french fries. The chicken had a good crunch but barely any flavor, and the fries were just okay, the toast was boring and had no flavor. The color of the sauce was unappetizing (pinkish purple?!) and it just tasted like vinegar, pepper, and milk. Not planning on going back ever. I'll stick to PDQ!
All I can say about the food is MEH. Everything is just average. First, i really can't wrap my head around the fact that a restaurant can survive solely on chicken fingers. But then they offer carbs with a side of carbs as a meal. Bland crinkle cut fries and soft lightly toasted garlic bread comes with the meals. The sauce taste like liquid salt and pepper and I wish there was more sauce options like bbq or garlic parm. This was our first time eating here and we probably won't go out of our way to eat here again.
I had the 4 piece box meal. The chicken fingers were juicy and delicious. The sign says they are marinated and hand battered which is probably why they are so juicy. Unlike other chicken places the secret recipie Cane's sauce is the only flavor dipping sauce offered. The crinkle cut fries were nicely done they are not the real thick ones they are thinner a little bit thicker than shoestring fries. And I got their fresh brewed sweet tea which was very flavorful. Only thing I missed was the choice of flavors for dipping sauce.
Thanks for the completely full to the top cup of ice. 2 sips and there was no soda. I had to scream to the top of my lungs my name 6 times, all of marlton heard me, he didn't..ok. just so he could open the window hand me a bag, (no napkins), and shut the window and walk away. I said thank you to the shut window. No wonder fast food is being canceled.
