Food was excellent, took longer than expected but the fries and chicken tenders are made fresh to order. Iced tea is fresh brewed. Cole slaw was amazing too. Building with a lot of history. It's a bar that serves food, but it was very good stopping by.

This a perfect example of how ones perspective could evaluate their experience. If you're an actual Mainer, this us a perfectly good place to grab lunch, dinner, shoot pool or listen to live music. The food was decent. The homemade crinkle fries were the best I've ever had (usually crinkle fries come from frozen, yuck), and my steak bomb was decently prepared. They have some local beers on tap and the usual cheap pilsners. They have pool tables here, it's cash only, and I felt right at home with the locals. If you're not from around here, go somewhere else because it's not like what you're used to. Go to the pretentious Flux and complain about there because you'll be more used to that environment. Railroad is truly a gem in Lisbon Falls. It is also a community staple! The owners are an amazing couple, with a lot of history and knowledge of the area. Make sure to say hello, they are VERY sweet. At first sight, this may seem like a "locals only" bar, but it truly is more than that. Come with a kind attitude, and you will be a part of the family there shortly. Take it from someone who moved to the Lisbon Falls area and knew no one- I went into Railroad and was quickly made to feel at home. The only downside is I wish it was a little bigger! They do what they can with the space- they have an indoor and outdoor seating area with live music, Pool (tournaments as well), a jukebox, and a cozy bar area. TLDR; Worth a visit every time.
