Rae’s Bus Station Diner

I love this place. It is not fancy but it is reliable. They serve a special every day and they have good diner pie. I posted pics on here of the floor under the barstools showing how well loved the place is. It is not for fancy city people. If you are fancy, you'll probably not like the earthiness of the place that makes it so awesome. Locals eat here. If you like diners and pie, bring yourself. Also, I posted a picture of this place back in the day that is on the wall. If you zoom in you can see it better.

I am sorry to say, Rae's is no longer open. I am not sure what happened. .........Wish they were open during the weekends. Excellent all around. Definitely order biscuits. Jalapeños were fresh. Will make what you want to order. Highly recommend.

Food was good. Ribs did remind me of Bosco Joe's except being a little smaller. They give military discount. Getting change back took a little while, think the server was new. Carrot cake was phenomenal. Will try the blueberry cake whenever I come through there again.

Hidden gem. Old school diner and delicious food. I had the breakfast special with biscuit and gravy, and coffee. My son had the double-cheeseburger and said it was great. Our server was very nice and fun to talk with. Definitely small-town feel and friendly. All the ladies in the diner were very friendly as well. Looking forward to visiting again. Certainly recommend stopping by for a visit.
