An excellent experience from start to end. We ordered every dish on the menu for a group of 5, and the flavors were so bold and unique. Everything was great, but some personal favorites were the goat pepper soup, the toast with mushrooms, the cabbage and the beef short rib. The staff was exceptional and very attentive. Loved the simple and minimalist atmosphere too. A strong recommend without a doubt.
Ordered the entire menu with no regrets. To be specific with the absolute bangers: the mushroom bread, the pepper soup, and the puff puffs. The bread and mushroom has so much flavor and should be your first stop to start your palette. The soup is POW flavor with a delicious spice. The puff puffs are lighter than they seem and the guava will have you digging at the bowl for every drop.
If you’ve never enjoyed the delights of Nigerian cooking - welcome to Radio Kwara, an absolute gem that brings traditional Nigerian dishes, BYOB, and a beautiful setting together for a tremendous treat. If you are well versed in the enjoyment, you will chop life well at Radio Kwara. We tried just about everything on the menu and spent about $500 - not necessary by any means but 100% worth every penny for such a feast! Can’t wait to go back - highly recommend!
Wanted to love this place so badly! Loved the record player playing old school African music and that there was a wine store next door as the restaurant is BYOB. The vibe and service were 100/10. However, the food is good..... but in no way shape or form does it taste like West African food. I felt that for the price, the portions were small and lacked pepper- pivotal for West African cuisine. (It wasn't even available as a condiment).
A group of us had the opportunity to dine at this restaurant as part of Tasting Collective, where a pre-set menu was created to showcase the cuisine. While I understand that a tasting experience may not fully represent the regular menu, it provided a glimpse of what might be expected. One area of concern was the spacing of the restaurant. It is quite compact, which made it challenging to be comfortable throughout the meal. Despite my petite stature at 5’1”, I found it difficult to stretch my legs. We began our meal with the goat pepper soup, which was enjoyable and had a bold flavor profile, though it was quite spicy and may not have been the most suitable choice as the first dish for all guests. The subsequent dishes featured minimal meat, leading to the perception that we were enjoyin
