Rachel Kohl Community Library

Rachel Kohl Community Library is one of those rare gems that manages to be a workspace, a play space, and a community hub all at once. It’s an incredible place to work, learn, socialize, or simply unwind. With a wide variety of activities, clubs, and programs, there’s always something happening — the opportunities to get involved feel endless. One of my favorite features is the large community room. It’s a true multipurpose haven where you can sit and work, enjoy a meal, teach a class, get tutored, play games, or even learn a new skill. It’s the kind of space that adapts to whatever you need in the moment. And the magic doesn’t stop indoors. A smaller library that caters to a smaller community. The only librarian on duty was South African and she was very helpful as I was an out-of-state patron. Seems like a great place for kids and there’s plenty of listing for clubs, activities, and other events. I would recommend venturing to some of northern Delaware’s public libraries if you need more space or amenities.

A delightful space that I found while my wife was at a luncheon. Very nice librarian, the building is quiet and clean. There were some interesting books for aale as weii.

I like this library. It is clean and organized. The children and adult library are on opposite sides of the building. I have not used the adult side yet but the childrens side has 2 bathrooms (one has a changing table), books, toys, games, puzzles, and coloring as well as tables in different sections. There are different programs throughout the week for both children and adults. In the lobby, they usually have books for sale (used/like new for fifty cents or one dollar) and have a table, chairs, and bathroom. The librarians are friendly and helpful. There is a playground, a volleyball area, a short paved trail, picnic tables, and a dog park behind the library.

Very nice atmosphere, GREAT collection of books
