Quat LA

Taking advantage of LA's more decent traffic right after Thanksgiving, I finally paid a visit to Quat. Not only the road, the venue itself was at least less busy during this period. I've been hearing at least 30 minutes queue before even able to either place your order or enjoy your drink, but this weekend was much quieter (not like the venue was empty for sure, there's still quite a crowd there!). You could really tell the slow and chill vibes right by the time you enter the venue. People just sit and relax, mostly within their groups or with their pets; yep the venue was really suitable to do so! Don't be surprise that there will be tons of dog-barking to hear! New concept from kumquat & loquat. Tiny store(3051B) with roaster next door and separate retail section(3051A). Overall very pleasant experience. Baristas are very knowledgeable. Might see a decent line but everyone there seems to be coffee enthusiast. Parking is right across the street in a gated lot, very convenient.

We already know the coffee taste great, and their exclusive drink was really good. I did add a shot of espresso. But the potential that this location has for the coffee community is amazing. The retail side is so pretty and all the crazy packaging that these brands do. And just the outside area they did a really good job. It’s always nice to touch and feel some of these tools that you’re willing to buy and this is a great showroom for that.

Nice parking, nice court yard to chill with friends. Sounds like they will have some fun stuff going on if you follow their info. Have always been a fan of Kumquat and their selection of single origin beans from across the globe. This new location is very chill.
