I was here with my friend after her son's suggestion. The ambience gives a cool vibe not just for the youth but also for seniors. I saw a mixed of crowd here enjoying the company of their family and friends and some playing the pool table and some on their digital devices while sipping the coffee and eating the delicious snacks and dessert. We ordered for pistachio and rose latte with avocado toast. The service is great, it's very crowded so sometimes you will have to wait to see who is getting off or else you can sit outside as well if it's not raining. Our order came in after 15-20 minutes the buzzer went on and I went and grabbed our trays of latte and avocado toast. It was delicious and loved the evening out here. A cool place better than Starbucks.

Stopped by Qatra Cafe during their soft opening! This newly opened Afghan cafe already feels like a wonderful third space addition for Pleasanton. The space is large, comfortable, and welcoming, with plenty of seating plus a ping pong table and pool table. Great for studying, working, or just hanging out. Qatra offers many coffee and chai options with unique flavors: saffron and rose matcha, pink sheer chai, qaimogh chai, saffron latte, orange blossom latte, and pistachio latte. There’s also some light food and sweets available, like sandwiches and samosas. The fig latte I tried was sweet but didn’t taste too much like fig. The qaimogh chai was interesting - a pink chai with clotted cream, with a strong cardamom taste but not too much spice complexity. Fun fact! The pink color is a resu

I visited Qatra Café today and had a wonderful experience. Their traditional pastries were absolutely delicious and made with great quality. The coffee was good, but the pastries truly stood out. The atmosphere is cozy and charming, with a very welcoming team that makes you feel at home. I also loved the cute setup and the outdoor seating. I can’t wait to come back and try all of their pastries again!

I have been here couple of times and tried few of the different coffee. The place is good and spacious, however coffee is very mediocre and lack richness. I found their lattes to be very diluted and have no flavor. They do not have black coffee on their menu but on my request they made americano and was very diluted and killed the coffee taste. About the service, they atleast took 10 mins to get our coffee ready while there was barely anyone in the shop. Top of that they served all our hot coffees at a room temperature. Though they graciously remade all our coffees. I’ll come back here for ambience but not for the coffee.

Wow! This place is truly an amazing gem! Upon walking in, one is greeted by a warm display of antique goods from Afghanistan. In combination with the warm environment, well lit seating, and the pool and ping-pong tables, this place from a decor perspective is absolutely outstanding. Very tastefully done. As far as drinks and other food items, all I can say is that no other cafe in the greater Bay Area has anywhere near this type of selection. It is abundantly clear that all ingredients are fresh and painstakingly hand-picked. The sheer chai is a personal favorite of mine, as is the mint lemonade. The matcha is also excellent. Food item wise, the samosa is absolutely delicious, as is the white sauce it comes with. Menu items such as the tacogak are new to me, but my family ordered and enj
