Found another lunch spot, though this one is a bit on the pricey side. The Venezuelan hot dog/subs were almost $20 after tax, but it was also a good amount of food, so I think it evens out. The restaurant is very small, so I wouldn't recommend it for large gatherings, but it'd be good for a quick bite. The food itself was great, except that the bread was a bit soggy, due to the sauce being on the bottom instead of the top, but the meat is well seasoned.

Completely unprofessional staff. The cashier only cared about selling. When we ordered, we repeated several times “no pork, please only chicken.” He kept nodding, but when the food arrived, my empanada was made with beef. He had no idea, and I ended up eating it. No apologies, nothing. I am a religious person, I came because of my Latin friends, and I ended up without food. And he even had the audacity to judge me, saying things about China just because I’m Asian. I do not recommend this place to any foreign visitors.

Very busy little place in South Nashville. The location has been several different restaurants over the last decades, I hope Pégate can hang. Anyway, the food is authentic, delicious, and made to order. The radio was a bit loud, but not so much that we could not enjoy our meal Nice work, guys, good luck!

Absolute best Venezuelan food I’ve had in Nashville. One of my favorite places. The food came out quickly and was delicious!
