PVD Pies

Wowowowowow this place is sooooo good. Today I came in and got the key lime pie and Buffalo chicken hand pie. Both were absolutely delicious. Let me tell you they have the best graham cracker crust in the game. I don’t know what they’re doing there but it’s slightly magical. The owner was also extremely nice and even let me try the filling for their London fog pie which was surprisingly good. My only qualm was that it was pretty expensive. I would’ve purchased more of the cost was a little less. Thanks so much again!

It is located in an interesting building, and the customer service was great. No prices are listed. The pie is very pricey at $12 for a 4in coconut custard pie. Used all fresh and tasty ingredients. But the custard was very soft like Bavarian cream, and the top was filled with whipped cream. Not enough coconut custard in the pie.

We had a tartlet size chocolate bourbon pecan pie. It was so delicious we ordered one for Thanksgiving! Delicious! Gina was so helpful and friendly. Fabulous place

I absolutely loved the pies at PVD Pies. It was cute and easy to find in the warehouse - you could find it by smell if there hadn’t been a big sign. I got the apple and pumpkin and they were both fantastic. It seems most small pies average around $11-$13 dollars. Honestly some of the best pies I’ve had in a long time. The only thing holding me back from a 5 is some convenience and logistical elements. The prices aren’t listed anywhere, nowhere to find dietary info for savory pies, and I’m left unsure of custom ordering. All of these questions are easy to ask, but having a website I think would make it a lot easier and accessible for a lot of people.

First and foremost, PVD Pies has the best key lime pie you’ll find anywhere, hands down. Located in a historic mill building this place has both unique creations (banana split pie) and the classics (key lime, strawberry rhubarb, blueberry, etc.) and they’re all well worth trying. The woman who runs the place brings an awesome energy to the space and I can’t help but reiterate how good the pies are. Haven’t tried any of the savory pies yet (shepherds), but I plan to in the future. Contrary to one of the other reviews, but I think the price is really fair. $12 for a homemade from-scratch pie that could easily be two adult servings while you support local business - be warned though, it’ll totally be a single serving pie if you’re hungry…
