Puyero Venezuelan Flavor on Campus

I am gluten, dairy and nut free. I got an arepa it was wonderful, filled with pulled pork, plantains and beans! My sister got a gluten free arepa. She, also had the BEST gluten free Empenadas ever! Great take out food for people with allergies. Yummy food!

New location, same delicious flavors ❤️😮‍💨 Puyero has been my go-to for Venezuelan food since their initial opening on South St. and I couldn’t be more excited to have them closer to home if I tried. Their tequeños are by far my favorite and I find myself craving them constantly. Keep up the amazing work and great vibes, Puyero family!🇻🇪🫓

Nice place. Loved the food. We had reina pepiada, bowls, tequeños and chicken empandas. We'll come back.

The portion of food was decent for the price. White rice was incredibly soggy. Black beans flavorless mush. Beef tasted like frozen crap, but the pork had a fresher taste. Plantains were good. Yuca fries were excellent with the green mayo. Will not return.

Delicious food, great music, attentive service. Get the tequeños! The arepas are huge and the fried plantains with cheese also come in a large portion. We couldn't finish it all so we took it to go and after warming it up on the stove it tasted as good as fresh.
