Putnam House of Pizza

This is a covid 19 takeout review. All food is eaten fresh in the vehicle. This restaurant was recommended to me and I know everyone has different ideas about pizza so I never know what to expect. I got a pepperoni Pizza and fries and took them out to my vehicle to eat. Everything was nice and hot and the fries were some of the better pizza house fries I have had. The pizza was ok, the crust was much doughier than I care for but the sauce was quite nice. Maybe a bit more cheese (personal preference). The lady behind the counter was very pleasant. On a scale of 1-10 this is a 5.6

Really respect the fact that we could choose to use a mask or not. Did a pick up order and from the phone call to pick up, very efficient service and pleasant. We had a cheese pizza which was good and the Feta pizza. The only reason we are not rating a 5 is because the crust was hard and had no taste.

I recently ordered takeout from this restaurant, and my experience was extremely disappointing. For a meal costing between $20-$30, I expected a higher standard of both food quality and service, but unfortunately, the establishment failed to meet even basic expectations. To begin with, the buffalo chicken wings were a significant letdown. They were beyond overcooked, resulting in a tough, dry texture that made them almost inedible. The wings lacked any hint of juiciness and were hard to chew, making the eating experience quite unpleasant. Furthermore, they were nearly devoid of the distinctive buffalo flavor that one would expect. Instead of the spicy, tangy kick that defines buffalo wings, these were bland and tasteless. Called in an order and asked for a turkey blt , the guy who answered the phone asked what a turkey blt is ? How do you not know its in the name , anyways besides the point got my food which is usually pretty good but today it was meh also got a calzone and its falling apart cant even eat it without a fork and knife . Place is usually really good , most likely wont be going back soon

Always get my party pizza from here. Can call ahead and you are all set. And we eat here from time to time as well. Great pizza and reasonable priced!
