Pure Pasty Vienna Shop

I’ve heard of this place and when in the area recently, I bought many Pastys to bring home and enjoy later on. The place is really just carry-out, they have fresh made, hot pastys to go, which they can sell, as well as frozen pastys to bring home. They also have a large selection of snacks directly from England. Service was helpful, the guy working the counter was descriptive and helped me with how the various pastys were made. Also, when walking in the amazing smells of all the workers in the back making food smelled incredible! I opted for some of nearly all their offerings of pastys. A couple of days later I made the chicken masala for lunch. I used their directions for baking, not the microwaving to get it ready to eat. They were spot on and the pasty came our perfectly warmed

At $10 per pastry I was expecting good things. Picked out a sausage roll and a cordon bleu pastry and both were terrible. Sausage roll appeared like it had been sitting out overnight and tasted like a plain hot dog rolled in flaky dough. Cordon bleu pastry was even worse and after eating half I ended up throwing it out.

I'm thankful there's a spot close by I can grab snacks from my family's childhood. A lot of snacks I kind of recognized, but once I showed pictures to my family, their nostalgia has me on a mission to come by here first before I visit them. This is a quaint spot I never expected to stumble upon.

The pasties are SO good! I've been come here for years. The frozen ones reheat beautifully at home following the package directions, too. They also have a really fun selection of UK foodstuffs, mainly snacks, sweets, drinks, and canned goods. They also carry Mr Kipling packaged cakes (Battenburgs, cherry Bakewells, etc.) which are such a treat. My group also tried Pure Pasty-baked cherry Bakewell, which I hadn't had from them before and it was great! Parking is usually no problem.

What did ya think i was gonna put me phone down while stuffing me face with that pasty!!!! Bloody amazing, better than a greggs back in England and quite the selection of British goods there like Fanta and sticky toffee pudding to skips and eccles cakes, so glad the wife brought me here even though it s over 50 mile away will most definitely be coming again. And very reasonably priced compared to other places.
