Pura Vida

Great food, drinks and service! Reasonable prices. As appetizers we had the Platano Maduro and the Chorreadas. Delish!!!! We had the Patrulla with Steak n onions and Casado Tradicional as our entrees. Awesome!!!! For drinks, hubby had the agua dulce and I tried the Spicy Pepino cocktail. Refreshing and great flavor! Kimberly was our server and she was a sweetheart! Oh and hubby is Tico and he approved! 😆

This was my first time eating at Pura Vida Restaurant. I go to Costa Rica once a year and really enjoy the tico dishes, well this place does not disappoint! The food was incredibly delicious and are large portions. The staff are extremely friendly I had a nice conversation with Andrew before we left. I cannot wait to go back.

Simple service and superb attention. The waitressing staff was patient and very knowledgeable about the dishes. Although it is a costarican themed restaurant….the menus expands into more than just Spanish so you are not just limited to one style of cuisine. They must have an army in the kitchen or be super organized because waiting for food was no more than 10-15 minutes (I was there with a party of 20 people). The bar….very skilled bartender and not stingy. The drink portions were very good. (Ordered. Mojito and lime wasn’t powering anything…nor was the mint or the rum. It was just right). The bathrooms were clean…this is a very well organized restaurant.

I've never dined in, but my team and I order staff lunch from here about twice a month. I honestly could eat the pollo al ajillo every few days... it is sooooo good! I always get the same thing every single time lol. Ask for extra sauce if you want to top your rice with the chicken. The food is fresh and flavorful. I always look forward to our lunches from Pura Vida!

I've been stopping for lunch at quite a few spanish restaurants in Trenton and decided to try this one. The place is pretty big, with a decent sized off street parking lot. The customers are all friendly and they seem to get s nice day time crowd. If you are going here for a drink keep in mind the bar only seats 5. Very friendly staff but most of them seem to speak little English. The food is good but not quite at the level of Dubai or Sabor Latin. Still, a good place overall and I would come back.
