Pupusería Metapán

I would like to make clear, this one start review is for the poor service that the same person has provided us the last two or three times we have visited this place. I will comment about the last two visit. 1. We ordered two plates of foods, girl only brought one, I believed that my plate was taking more time to get it done, but it was never served. Then the girls said that I did not order a plate for me, so I was the wrong then. This last visit I asked for two pupusas, she brought two pupusas in a white plate. That is it, no salad, no dressing, just the plate with pupusas, wrong. Then We ordered two plates of food and for me a glass of water; she broght the plates but never my glass or water; then I was forced to ask for a beverage, she brought the beverage, ambient temperature for me

One of the best “semi” new spots to eat pupusas in the outer mission. The pupusas are not greasy (although I thought the chicharron was a bit salty). Awesome aguas frescas.

Rating based on quality of food. Ordered #1 breakfast plate for delivery. Platanos completely not ripe, cooked only on the outside. Embarrassing to release food from any establishment of this quality at any price point. It hurts even more when you’ve built up an appetite, I had 4-5 bites off the plate. The beans are too watery for my liking but tasted good. (As an FYI, the curtido from here has a good spicy kick.)

I ordered two pupusas, they called me to confirm "the flavor" of BOTH pupusas, when I received the order I only received one, they NEVER corrected me that I had only ordered one, they blamed me the whole time that I did it wrong without at least trying to remedy my bad experience

Great food, Pupusas are *really* close to the quality my grandma makes (shh don't tell her.) love the side dishes, good curtido. Can be a bit slow to get attention, but well worth it. I need to return here soon.
