We were traveling from Toronto to visit the Nethercutt Museum on Bledsoe near San Fernando Rd. It was lunchtime when we left the museum so we were delighted to try our first pupusas at the Pupuseria el Changarrito Salvadoreno, an outdoor service only a short walk to the 224 bus at San Fernando and Polk. The food was delicious, the proprietor who makes it while we waited was kind to offer us chairs at a table in the shade. All in all, an excellent dining experience!
The food was delicious, and the service was prompt. I ordered pupusas, and I would go back.
Worst pupusas I have ever had, the dough is all falling apart. Taste is bland no flavor. I ordered pupusa with cheese, loroco and beans. All it had was beans very little cheese and maybe about 3 loroco. I dont understand why it has 5 stars maybe people dont know what good pupusas are.
Delightful! Super nice folks too
Really good pupusas and natural beverages, but we had to eat standing up because they don't have tables and chairs for customers.
