Punta Cana Restaurant & Bar

My husband was very excited to try this place, but it did not live up to it's hype. We have been to the Dominican Republic many times and was hoping to find something close. Dominican food can be very good. We ordered the steak and onions, Sancocho, and chicken with rice and beans. The steak and onions was very weird. It had a maybe vinegary taste. I'm not sure, but I didn't like it at all. I returned it and got a churrasco steak. The churrasco steak was better. It was cooked and seasoned better. The plantains were cooked well. The chimichurri sauce was good too. My husband chicken was not warmed. It was cold to the touch. They cooked it again, but he said it wasn't great. It didn't have good flavor, neither did the beans. If you go here get the Sancocho. That was delicious. Very flavorfu

Very good eating here, ladies and gentlemen! I just wish they weren’t so far from home!! The young lady that waited on us was awesome!! Try this place if you’re passing through or even if you are a local!! Muy Rico.🤤

My family and I drove an hour to come here. It was the best food and dining experience. The soup, mofongo, aguacate salad, and pernil were Delicious! The owner and staff were super friendly. We felt like we were at home. The music was great, too. You will not regret it and money well spent too! Thank you Punta Cana restaurant!

Delicioso! Amazing food! First time I came to this restaurant. Local friends recommended it. Elaisa was our waitress and she was awesome. Super kind and friendly. She made this Puerto Rican feel at home. Food was incredible. Empanadas de pollo! Uffff! Mamposteao rice and the smoked pork chops to die for!!!! Churrasco, arroz, habichuelas and fried plantains! Tostadas con mantequilla y ajo! Oh y el jugo de parcha!!!! I highly recommend this restaurant. I’m definitely driving 46 minutes again to keep trying their wonderful menu! Gracias por tan deliciosa experiencia!!!!

We really enjoyed your first visit here and we had the pleasure of meeting Ricky, the owner. Ricky's wife is the cook! Super nice and he even brought us 3 or 4 samples to try out!! Each sample was GREAT!! My wife enjoyed the Camarones (Shrimp) de Mofongo and i really liked Los 3 Amigos (grilled Steak, Shrimp & Chicken) with rice, beans and a salad!! Also really liked the Dominican stew!! We will be back again very soon to try more options from Punta Cana Restaurant!!
