Punta Cana Dominican Restaurant

Punta Cana earns top marks for its incredible service and welcoming atmosphere. The staff is consistently friendly, attentive, and create a genuinely pleasant dining experience. However, the food can be a bit of a gamble. On this visit, the pollo guisado was just okay lacking in the robust, savory flavor you’d expect from this classic stew. The maduros (sweet plantains) were unfortunately dry, missing that perfect caramelized tenderness. A definite highlight was the passionfruit juice: fresh, tangy, and delicious. It was a refreshing and flawless choice.

I saw them on tik tok and went the next day. Rice and beans go together to me, but white rice is a side here. I had the beef stew, beans, white rice and tostones. The food was awesome. It's very flavorful and the portion size was great. The staff is very friendly and courteous, but not as attentive to single guests. Possibly due to a large group have a party.

Was determined to try the Mofongo and it did not disappoint! I’m still thinking about that cream sauce a week later. Perfect with an order of fresh juices! Loved the atmosphere inside as well and the island decor.

It was my first time and the food was delicious and the drinks were delicious. I recomend the Dominic drink. Live music on Friday and they close at 2am. 18 years on the area of Charlotte. I love it.
