PUNGNYEON KATSU 풍년 돈까스

So yummy, filling and not greasy at all! Pork was soft and tender and everything was fresh and made to order. It’s a little small inside so can fill up quickly with people, but still very cute. This is the first time I had katsu sauce and it didn’t have the taste of cinnamon..PRAISE THE LORD! In seriousness, this place was really good and I left with a very happy belly.

The owner is kind and the food is always fresh. The portions are generous and I always love how quiet it is. The inside is reminiscent of an 90s style Korean restaurant. The art is cute on the walls and the menu signs are charming. The entree comes with a corn soup and a side of pickles which is actually a nice addition. The food came with the perfect timing to finish the soup and get comfortable. **Korean- Japanese food doesn't come with a lot of banchan. That is for more traditional Korean restaurants and Korean bbq. They give pickles to help balance out any oil of seafood from the cutlets. Keep up the great work!!

Came after a long time wanting to try and honestly it was pretty decent. The customer service was very very good. Super polite and made the ordering/paying experience simple and seamless. The menu is limited to a few items but they are done very well. Went with a side order of dumplings and they were your traditional fried dumplings and the sauces they pair with them especially the spicy one was amazing. Went with the classic pork katsu meal and the katsu itself was done to perfection with the meat being tender and not overly seasoned. The breading on the katsu was fried perfectly and wasn’t dripping an excess of oil. The size of it too was great too, didn’t feel like I left without really trying the katsu. They have to know how to cook something perfectly if it’s in the name of the busine

We keep driving by this place and been wanting to try. Finally made our way here tonight for dinner. We order the soba noodle with shrimp tempura, chicken katsu and cheese katsu. The cheese katsu is pork with cheese over. Both katsu was cooked perfect. The soba was really good as well. It came with the pickled daikon and onion which was really good. And all the meals come with a corn cream soup. The corn cream soup was so tasty. The service was very good. I highly recommend this place

Food here is SO GOOD. Everything is made fresh to order. Their fried pork cutlet is drizzled with homemade gravy, and their pork cutlet with cheese is so yummy as well. If you like cold noodles, you should definitely get their soba—I get it every time I come. But everything in the menu is so good. I love restaurants that have a limited menu and do the food justice. The ambience is calm, family-run vibe. Plenty of parking as well. And the servers are super friendly as well. Best donkatsu in town!!!
