Puerto Nuevo Mexican & Seafood Restaurant

This restaurant exceeded our expectations! Wow…just wow. The food was delicious, the staff was courteous and it was one of the best Mexican eateries I have ever visited. It was so good, we may even go back today. We are only in the area for three days and we may go back:) Great job!

Stopped here for lunch on recommendation of others, and had our dog with us too. The food is outstanding! My wife had the 7 Mares soup and it was a huge meal in itself - and Michelin star quality! Great drinks, excellent pricing and attentive staff. Definitely coming back soon!

The chips come with refried bean queso and they provide a pretty fresh salsa bar with mild, mango, and white sauce. The high quality food is fresh, flavorful, and yummy. I like their lunch portion as the chef creates a nice enchilada. They have house made horchata good for making the experience special. Their wonderful salsa reminds me of what Chuy’s provides.

2 miles off Blue Ridge Parkway Most beautiful food we ever eat. Any plates that passed our table looked so delicious. Warm chips and tasty bean/cheese dip. Also a salsa bar with many other types. The salmon salad was fantastic. Manager walks around checking on your satisfaction.

As mexican I really suggest the place. Note: we tried chilaquiles and my wife tried enchiladas and its amazing, the sauce is very spicy but so delicious! If you are in town stop by!
