Public Bathrooms

Xcellent place, no just because the restroom not only for the stop to go to the toilet, but you can enjoy the shade of the trees/oaks that form a canopy and paths where you can walk to move your legs, benches to rest or eat something, at the same time its cleaning inside and outside, Of course enough garbage containers on the paths for us to recycle. One cannot miss the opportunity to stop for a few minutes.

I live in the RGV, but motorcycle to Fal, Alice and other points. I always stop here on way bak for a break. Lots of shade, serviceable but somewhat dark bathrooms, vending machines, benches and tables dot this rest area. Heed the signs as there are snakes in area. A maintenance crew does a good job of maintaining and keeping the area clean. I only gave it 4 stars as this rest area could stand an upgrade. Thank u.

Very nice and clean restrooms

Wish it didn't stink like pee and poo and had toilet paper and paper towels as well as soap stalked but at least the vending machines work.

Stopped by on 9/5/25. Two urinals and one stall were not working, leaving only one stall available in the men's restroom. Very inconvenient. There was a secondary men's restroom but didn't bother. If you don't have to stop here, don't stop.
