Customer Reviews
We have stopped at Prost a couple times over the years, and each time I leave feeling a bit disappointed. The mustards, sausages, and beers are good, but the pickles, cucumber salad, and schnitzel have not been great. I've NEVER seen anyone make cucumber salad with anything other than fresh cucumbers before, their pickles are a lot of celery and dont have much flavor, and my schnitzel had a ring of completely dry meat all the way around it. The fry coating and flavor were good, but I nearly flung my schnitzel off my plate multiple times trying to cut the edges. Overall, id recommend just sticking to their stronger items. (Forgot to add photo of the weird cucumber salad)
The service was great, but the food was not as good, we got the sausage board, which was not good sausage and then the sides where pickles, but there was no tasted pickles. They all tasted like water. And this place is super loud like we could not hear what each of us said. Their huge pretzel is a famous one which was just a pretzel. The small sausage board that they say is enough for six people is not enough for six people.
Converted church close to the capital area. Appetizer specials when I visited. Pretzel shown was only $5. Pork Schnitzel plate with spaetzle side was $21. Fun open space with large tables well suited for big groups. Really great spot!
Amazing food. Beer cheese for the pretzel was smth else, never had smth like that before. Highly recommend. The restaurant itself is beautiful. It used to be a church, which added on to the unique experience. Workers very friendly
Truly authentic German cuisine with a great variety of sausages to choose from. The freshly baked Brezel is a must-try soft on the inside with a perfect crust. There’s also an excellent selection of beers. We love this place so much, we come twice a week!🍺🥨
