Prospect Coffee Roasters

When I first moved to Ventura a few years ago, I discovered Prospect Coffee Roasters, and it quickly became one of those reliable, feel good spots. West Ventura has no shortage of great coffee options now, but this is still one of my go to places. I love that I can walk in, grab my iced vanilla latte, and be on my way without any fuss. The loyalty points definitely do not hurt either. They always keep me coming back. I am honestly not sure where some of the negative reviews come from. At a certain point, it feels like people are just committed to complaining and cosplaying as coffee critics. Every time I am there, I am greeted, the service is efficient, and the drinks are consistent. I did not realize it was illegal for coworkers to talk to each other. And yes, dogs are not allowed insi

Bright place, but it feels like it lacks character. The coffee is good, but nothing special. I think it could use a bit more of a unique story or vibe. Overall, it’s a pleasant spot and worth stopping by for a cup if you’re nearby.

Great place with cool and chill staff ready to take your order and get a drink to you quickly. They are amazing at what they do and they make your drink wiith a smile. The becerages I've gotten here are delicious. Most recently the Solimar Coconut. So unique in a latte but goes so well with the espresso. The atmosphere is great. Limited seating but on a good day it's great to take a walk with your latte anyhow :) get some Prospect Coffee and head to the Pier or watch the sunrise and it will make your morning.

Just popped in for a few minutes and left, but the space was great, staff was friendly, and the coffee was killer. Had an oat Gibraltar and couldn’t have been happier. Grabbed a super tasty kombucha on the way out.

Love this coffee shop so much. The mocha is my favorite and the vibe is special. Kevin and Miriam were so kind and knowledgeable about coffee! Thank you
