Private South Branch Potomac River Beach

Always a great time bringing my girls down to the south branch and enjoy our community area for the Bluffs of Potomac. The newly installed steps down to the water, make it easy to launch our kayaks and rafts. And the girls love to simply just play in the water and the streams that run past the pavilion area.

This is private property, administered by the Bluffs on the Potomac Property Owners Association and reserved for the use of it's members. The property has staircase access to the river, several family sized picnic areas with charcoal stoves and one very large picnic pavilion with two large charcoal grills suitable for large group gatherings. There is also lavatory (porta-potty) facilities.

I'm giving this area 1 star only because Google Maps has this location listed incorrectly. This is a Private area behind a locked gate, belonging to the community of Bluffs on the Potomac Owners. I have submitted changes to Google Maps but nothing has been updated yet.

As a bluffs owner we enjoy taking the pupper dog's down to cool off they are all three black labs and enjoy the water
