Princeton Area Library

Came here with our 2 year old to play on a rainy day and had SO much fun. Such a cute kids area.

I had to do proctoring for two online math courses. The librarians were consistently kind, helpful, and patient in navigating the codes, print outs, supervision, scans, etc. They also wouldn't accept payment for the proctoring. I really appreciated their help, and recommend supporting this location.

The desk lady was very rude, I am not from town and was asking for some help as I haven't been here before. She very blankly stared at me as I ask her questions on how to print a student paper. She showed me to a computer and left with no guidance I wasn't sure on how to print and waited to ask why the paper was not printing showed me where to pay by pointing a finger and I paid for 5 double-sided papers. I have printed papers before and I made sure to click double-sided before printing but they still did not print double-sided nor did they print correctly I waited patiently for assistance and ended up paying for new papers explaining to her that I would have to throw these papers away since I could not use them and her words were that's your choice with attitude. Loved getting to experience the library with my children! They have a great spot where kids can play and expand their imagination. We have also attend the library when they have a guest such as the magician. Love that there are areas in the library that are accommodating to different age groups.

The library itself is very nice and has some great spaces for reading or working. I had never been there before and asked where a good space was to plug-in my laptop and work and the woman that worked there used a tone that felt off-putting to tell me where as if I should already know and just SEE them. I wasn't sure if they had preferred work space areas or not as I had never been there. I think she may have noticed she sounded that way as she was more polite the next time she spoke with me but it was not a welcoming experience initially.
