I saw this pop up on Uber Eats and decided to try it. I'd never heard of it and didn't realize it was a chain. I was expecting an actual sub based on their descriptions and prices, but it's just a fast food sub. I ordered a mild sharp Italian, but that's not what I received. I don't know if the store or courier messed up, but I'm assuming the store gave the driver the wrong order. What I received is a steak sub. After getting a full refund from Uber, I decided to try it. It's just ok. I can't compare it to other fast food steak subs because I never order them. My preference is cold subs, and if I'm getting a steak, it will be local - Campi's, Pino's Deli, etc. Y'all know the drill. 😂 It had a good flavor, but was skimpy on the meat. The receipt said peppers and onions, but I didn't see
Second time we have been to Primo, the cheese steaks are just like in Philly. I tried the sharp Italian, so much flavor! The crew was efficient and welcoming. If you haven't been you better make it there today!
Fantastic sub. I mean really really great. The best bread ever and it's a huge sandwich! It's has high quality meat and toppings. It's pricey but Soo worth it! I wish there were more locations!
We went on 8/14/25. I tried the Abruzzi. Roasted pork, sharp provolone, broccoli rabe. But I had them throw on the roasted red peppers, which normally come on the Nellie. This is usually served as a cold sub but I asked them if they would toast the entire thing. I couldn't wait to get home. When I unwrapped that bad boy, the 1st thing I noticed when I bit into it, was the warm, toasty crunch of that bread. Then I got the porky goodness of the meat. Followed by the ever so slightly garlicky flavor of the broccoli rabe. And then the sweetness of those roasted peppers. I read some negative reviews right before we came here. Almost didn't come here because of them. All I can say guys, is I am so glad we decided to try Primo Hoagies for ourselves. Oh yeah, my partner got the Italia
Overall a good sub I wish it was warm but that was probably my fault for not saying that when I ordered
